Do wedding officiants stay reception?
It's traditional to invite the officiant to the reception -- and not just to part of it. That said, he is most likely used to receiving invitations and is probably also used to politely declining or just staying for cocktails to wish the couple well one last time.
Civil Wedding Officiant Fees
A standard fee for a wedding officiant usually ranges from $500 to $800. Some civil officiants charge more for add-ons such as custom ceremony scripts, premarital counseling and/or a rehearsal. Ask ahead to see what the fee includes before you book.
Can photos be taken?
That’s up to you. Our officiants are comfortable with photos being taken – just make sure to get their good side!
Do we have to memorize our vows?
No. you can write your own vows but come wedding day, we can “feed them to you one word at a time.”
